From a terminal; import -window root give_it_a_name.png In kde it's ksnapshot, and in gnome..well, it's in the menu but called from the commandline it's gnome-panel-screenshot. Guest esage Posted July 14, 2003 Report Share Posted July 14, 2003 Wow! Thanks for all the help. The name was screenshot.png. I took it in Gnome Mnk 9.1 using the dropdown 'Screenshot'.
