Guest motif Posted May 14, 2008 Report Share Posted May 14, 2008 Hi, I am trying mandriva 2008 (spring edition) on dell 1525 but the sound is not working. While installing also it generated a loud sound (puuuuuu) for long, that time I muted it by plugging a earphone jack in headphone slot. It appeared to me as loud feedback noise. Later I found that feedback noise goes away if mux is kept zero at kmix. But the main problem is that the sound is still not working. It will be great if someone can help me solving this..
