dalee
Hi, I can no longer get xmms to run under KDE. It works under Gnome with no problems. The error I get from the terminal is: $ xmms ** ERROR **: First `engine' section must include a `stock' section. aborting... Aborted I don't understand this error. Anybody have an idea? Thanks! dalee
mtweidmann
Try backing-up /home/<user>/.xmms then deleting the directory. Its where all the settings for Xmms are stored, if its not there it uses system defaults instead. Often it can be that you've got a particular option set that stops it from working. Has solved a lot of problems for me in the past.
