How do I install amsn-0.61.tar.gz (MSN Messenger)

Ral, if you're still interested in how to run the AMSN client, the actual execution of the file is, from within the directory you extracted to:

 

wish amsn

 

I'm using MDK9 and KDE3 as my main navigational GUI. For the MSN, I've found it easier to just right click on the desktop -> create new -> link to application ...go to the execute tab and just put the directory and the file "amsn" I.E. mine is: /usr/bin/amsn and just use that icon to run it. I'm not too fond of MSN, but I'm used to having a seperate chat client for my different messengers.
