Guest tcreek Posted May 19, 2003 Report Share Posted May 19, 2003 I just went out and bought a 120 GB HD (Maxtor 7200/UDMA133)for my MDK 9.0 system. $129.99 with $60 rebate! Now I have the space, I would like to setup the NNTP server on my system. I understand this is hard to do. Anyone know how to do this or know a site to explain? Thanks! Guest tezca Posted May 21, 2003 Report Share Posted May 21, 2003 I tried doing the same thing but ouldn't get it to work on mandrake , tried the same commands on Redhat and it work'd I 'll post back wen I have my docs and let you know what I did the problem I had on mandrake was that the server wouldn't start correctly, kept complaning that it had to be started as the user news or whatevert @ when I su - news & tried to start it wouldn't I 'll post back so maybe we an both troubleshoot this Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
