Ric Posted May 16, 2003 Report Share Posted May 16, 2003 Is there any way to get the soundblaster 4.1 Digital to use all four speakers in linux, at the moment it is only using two of them, also will/does EAX work in linux. tyme Posted May 16, 2003 Report Share Posted May 16, 2003 EAX doesn't really work in linux, as far as I'm aware-as it's a software thing, if I understand it correctly. And if your outputting in digital, I don't know why it's not using all four speakers. run your favorite mixer program (aumix, for example) and make sure your outputs are up...I'm not sure which ones have to do with digital.
