Mandrake control center sees the network card, am able to assign IP/s to it and ping the same but when I try to ping other machines on the network it just fails. Also when left for a dhcp server to assign the address the nic never receives an IP. Also cat of /proc/interrupts shows the nic receiving a non conflicting irq Would be happy to provide more info if someone can help !!
