Guest topspinner Posted February 13, 2008 Report Share Posted February 13, 2008 i'm a linux newb tried to install mandriva 2007 live and also 2008 DVD but after install complete i found my keyboard not functioning well the "o" "p" "k" "l" and other keys start to type as numric pad i tried a lot of keyboard layouts no luck !! is there any thing i can do i have Amilo 1718 1.86 core due processor 1 G ram 160 sata HD ATI grapics and HD sound card all seems functioning weel THANKS Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tyme Posted February 14, 2008 Report Share Posted February 14, 2008 Press your num lock key. If your problem is fixed you need to turn off Num-Lock on boot. I believe this can be done through Mandriva Control Center under Services, there should be a service named numlock, IIRC. If the above doesn't solve your problem post back...
