qnr
If you're looking for something graphical, you might want to check out pan terry@timestorm: /home/terry12:01:12 $ gaze what pan ; gaze url pan pan: Pan is a newsreader, loosely based on Agent and Gravity, which attempts to be pleasant to use for new and advanced users alike. It has all the typical features found in newsreaders, and also supports offline reading, multiple connections, and a number of features for power users and alt.binaries fans. pan: http://pan.rebelbase.com

DragonMage
Is there anything like newsbin pro? Well.. there is a program called getbinnews that is similar. I have tried it but I don't really like it however. Pan is still the primary linux binary downloader for me. here is the link to getbinnews. http://www.getbinnews.com/
Cannonfodder
I've been trying to get news-grabber 3 working with wine, but no luck so far. It allows me to select the database but then gives me an error message as it can't create some file or whatnot.. bother!
