Zdravko Nedic Posted December 23, 2007 Report Share Posted December 23, 2007 Hi guys, I have a problem. I cannot play video files in any media player in Mandriva 2008. I tried Xine, MPlayer, VLC, Kaffeine. Also, I installed win32-codecs, dvd codecs, real player codecs, everything from easy rpmi. All permisions should be ok. And it just won´t work. Only thing I get when I open the file is sound, but not the picture. Any ideas and similar experiences? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
lavaeolus Posted December 23, 2007 Report Share Posted December 23, 2007 I have gstreamer-plugins-base/good/ugly installed and so far could watch every type of video in totem and kaffeine (quicktime, avi, windows media all work), I didn't even need the win32-codecs from plf. It seems your problem is not related to the codecs, maybe more to your graphics-system.
