Hello,

Recently I was playing around with my keyboard layouts. I tried dvorak layout for a while. But I then switched back to qwerty US english layout and I got dead keys. tilda key and quotation mark keys require to press space key to do anything. I don't like it. I dont know how I got these dead keys. I set the defaults back which puts US English(us), it did not work ( did not remove the dead keys..). I enabled keyboard layouts and chosed specifically US English(us), did not work. I also tried other US English options like us_intl and en_US, none of the worked.. (there is also option in en_US layout which says nodeadkeys but it still has dead keys. But en_US is not the layout I wany..)

In short I would assume going back to defaults should normally correct everything but it does not..

I will appreciate any help on removing these dead keys..

Thank You..
