Guest ump
Has any one ever played this game? I know the company that made it went under but I have seen it at Linux Game Publishing. Any thoughts?
DOlson
I have the game. They should really put a note up on both TuxGames and LGP stating what the situation is, but here, I'll clarify it for everyone here. If you were interested in buying Creatures Internet Edition, GO FOR IT. Why? Well yes, Creature Labs folded, but think about what CIE really is... 1) Creatures 3 (C3) 2) Magma Norns 3) Docking Station (DS) Now, the Docking Station was always free, and you could just download it from the Creature Labs website. It's where the whole "Internet" part comes into play. CIE is just C3 + DS + extra norns. So, chances are pretty darn good that if you were buying CIE, you were doing it for C3 and the extra norns, since you didn't have to ever pay for DS. C3 is just a single-player game, and the Magma Norns add on to that. Just don't install the DS, since it's useless now. Hope that sums it up and clarifies it for you. I'll contact Mike Simms and see what he thinks about clarifying it...
