ISO burner? [solved]

Yeah, if you're using Gnome, you can usually just right click the ISO image and burn it choosing an option from the pop up menu.

As to Mandriva 2008, I've no idea since we are not Mandriva, but an unofficial support group of Mandriva Lovers who love to help people with their problems. However, going by past experience, I would expect them to release Mandriva 2008 Free on CD and DVD, as well as a Mandriva 2008 One CD which is a Live CD for using before installing.

If you had looked at K3B a little more carefully you would have seen that it openly offers to burn ISOs for either CD or DVD and is probably the easiest and most user friendly of ANY burner programs available. In my opinion it even has the famous NERO nailed down. It has also deservedly won numerous awards.

Whether or not you use Gnome instead of KDE you can still install K3B without installing all of KDE.

Cheers.
