ianw1974
You can use K3B, which is really good. If this isn't suitable, please explain in more detail what it is your actually trying to do.

scarecrow
Virtually any Linux burning tool can burn ISO's... BTW I also use k3b. Other than that, acetoneiso2 is a good image manipulator and for image creation/management there are isomaster and kiso (the latter is rather obsolete). I wouldn't trust too much any of the two. grimx
I think i found one, i have Gnome CD Master and it has an option to burn an .iso image. problem solved. One other thang though, Mandriva 2008 will i be free to download cd .iso's?? Edited September 26, 2007 by grimx
ianw1974
Yeah, if you're using Gnome, you can usually just right click the ISO image and burn it choosing an option from the pop up menu. As to Mandriva 2008, I've no idea since we are not Mandriva, but an unofficial support group of Mandriva Lovers who love to help people with their problems. However, going by past experience, I would expect them to release Mandriva 2008 Free on CD and DVD, as well as a Mandriva 2008 One CD which is a Live CD for using before installing. AussieJohn
If you had looked at K3B a little more carefully you would have seen that it openly offers to burn ISOs for either CD or DVD and is probably the easiest and most user friendly of ANY burner programs available. In my opinion it even has the famous NERO nailed down. It has also deservedly won numerous awards. Whether or not you use Gnome instead of KDE you can still install K3B without installing all of KDE. Cheers.

pmpatrick
I k3b you go in the menus to Tools>Burn CD Image in case anyone is wondering. If you're running kde, k3b will come up and offer to burn the image if you double click on the iso image file in konqueror.
