Hello!

I'm new in using Linux. I got bord with Windows and wanted to try out Mandriva Linux. But I nead help installing the Mandriva on a Maxtor 250gb scsi hard drive. It seems that i can't find a driver for the hard drive or I do not know what to do to so that the Mandrake could be installed on the drive.

Specifications

I have the Mandriva 2007 Spring Free version.

My computer has AMD64 3400+ processor

ASUS NVidia G-Force 7300GT graphics card

Maxtor 250gb scsi hard drive

A 5.1 3D surround soundcard

Twinhan dvb-c TV-card

Can someone help me with this so that I can install Mandriva on my computer. I hope you put it simple because I'm new with Linux.

You should try first Mandriva One ,it boots direcly from the cd and if it boots right it might install right too.

Give it a try and let us know how it went.

Cheers...
