So_it_goes
Running # urpmi -v mplayer # urpmi -v dha Solved the problem. The -v is optional. Run # urpmi --test -v mplayer # urpmi --test -v dha to test the packages without installing. Out of curiosity , why does these things happen ? //
dexter11
In this case it happened because both the official Mandriva repos and the plf repo has mplayer packaged. That's because some codec support cannot be compiled into the official version because of licensing issues. So plf makes an mplayer package with all codecs support compiled in. These two mplayer package can conflict in certain cases.
adamw
right. the -v is 'verbose' - I asked you to include that just to make sure we got all possible information.
