Interactive firewall - No notifications in KDE

Hi all, have googled and search this forum, I find little snippets here and there but no definitive information regarding the reason why Interactive Firewall does not display portscans etc. I bought the Boxed Mandriva Powerpack+ Spring Edition (which I also cannot register the Activation Key), this is a brand new updated install.

 

[root@xxx jimf]# uname -a
Linux mimir.xxx.xxx 2.6.17-14mdv #1 SMP Wed May 9 21:11:43 MDT 2007 i686 Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU 1.70GHz GNU/Linux

 

I get an error when restarting mandi

 

[root@xxx jimf]# service mandi restart
Shutting down mandi daemon:									 [  OK  ]
Starting mandi daemon: mandi_daemon_add_watch(): READABLE
unable to open white list file
															[  OK  ]

 

Portscans reveal (grc.com etc) that I only have the ports open that I want and I can close/open ports in MCC, so no great worries, I'd just like to see the advertised 'toys' working.

 

Any ideas/suggestions?

I have the same issue, also on a clean install of MDV 2007 Spring
