Rik
I was attempting to set up to print to a printer connected to an XP pc on my network. In the process of doing that, my Printer Setup in the MCC has become broken. When I launch the printer setup, it pops up a dialog saying it is setting up a default printer. This remains a very long time, but eventually closes. The Printer Setup then is open, but unresponsive. Nothing I click on responds. There is a refresh icon, a CUPS icon, neither responds if clicked, the menus don't respond, there is a local tab and a network tab, they do not respond. I have shut down the Mandriva computer and restarted, but taht makes no difference. Any ideas how to restore the Printer Setup? Rik
scarecrow
Leave MCC alone, and try http://localhost:
Rik
Leave MCC alone, and try http://localhost:631 I get the Home page, but the other pages do not respond. I see someone else has mentioned this problem in the CUPS Forum concerning CUPS 1.2.10. Edited April 25, 2007 by Rik
