That link you pasted says this:

A full-featured Mandriva Linux system held on 1 CD, ready for your office, internet and multimedia needs. Try it safely by simply inserting it onto your CD or DVD drive (Live mode), and install it when you decide, from the Desktop!
So you can install it, or you can just run it from the CD. So you can try it out without mucking about with your hard drive. More information is at http://www.mandriva.com/en/community/mandrivaone

If we can assume that you now have a file called mandriva-one-2007-something.iso, is that right? So if you wanted to try it out you would first need to check that the iso is ok, then burn it onto a CD (as an image!), and then boot from the CD. You can use a CD-RW if you want.

However, be aware that what you have is almost certainly Mandriva 2007, which is going to be outdated in a matter of days. The next version is almost almost almost there, and will be called Mandriva 2007.1 Spring. I would recommend you wait a few days for that to be officially released, as the improvements look significant.
