Guest Flyer
Hi! I've got few problems/questions about my hardware. 1) I have Ladtek Winfast 2000 XP Expert tv card. Mandriva detected it as Happauge tv card (same chip). It worked great with kdetv (I didn't tried xawtv). And now it doesn't detect it at all. I also installed mandriva on my older pc. Mandriva doesn't detect tv card there too. There's old rage 128 All-in-wonder. 2) I have Logitech Quickcam Connect webcam. Mandriva doesn't detect it too. Do I have to use any special drivers for it? 3) I'm going to buy mp3 player and I want to be sure that it will work in linux. Creative ZEN V seems to be a good DAP, but it can be used only through MTP. Should I look for different DAP or this one will work fine? I don't need video, fm radio, photo features. I want good quality of sound and linux support. Should I concerne about user non replaceable batteries? P.S. Sorry for my bad english and thanks in advance. Scythe
I'm pretty sure the Creative and Dell MP3 players work with Linux if you install Lsongs. I still have to try that with my 2nd Gen. Dell DJ, but I read here that you can use the DJ with Linux.
