Guest IamBB Posted March 4, 2007 Report Share Posted March 4, 2007 An error "Could not find CD-ROM"occurs when I install Mandriva 2007 in my laptop It is freak that this error also occurs when I install Mandrake 10.2, but I had install Mandrake 9.2 successfully in the same laptop My laptop: Acer5552 chip on board Mobile Intel 945GM/PM Express I had seen some article in before, they said it is Mandriva's bug - does not support some CD-Rom, is that true?? thx a lot! If so, I'd guess that the CD you burnt hasn't been burnt properly, or was corrupt when downloaded. Did you check the md5sum before burning it?
