Guest hamster Posted February 21, 2007 Report Share Posted February 21, 2007 my college's network requires that i register my computer using a .sh program. i have no idea how to open said program. this is my final hope. the school's network help is a joke, and they have no experience with linux. any help would be hot! neddie Posted February 21, 2007 Report Share Posted February 21, 2007 If they haven't got any experience with linux, then where did you get a linux shell script from? If they gave it to you and said that it will work with linux, then go to a console, go to the directory where you saved the file, and type ./filename.sh and see what happens.
