Peter_APIIT Posted January 26, 2007 Report Share Posted January 26, 2007 I using Mandriva Linux 2007 free edition on my PC. At the moment, i can play CD or DVD but without the sound effect. I don"t know what wrong with it but it is really make me headache. I hope that all of you can help on this issue. I think the kernel can detect the my sound driver. scarecrow Posted January 26, 2007 Report Share Posted January 26, 2007 Just enable digital playback (simplest and most natural solution), or else open the computer case and connect via the appropriate cable your CD-ROM to the soundcard input.
