Guest Goofusbrain
Do the linux drivers support the ti4600's video-in capabilities? I've not seen this asked anywhere.. so.. was just wondering. I've tested the card in winders.. and it actually does capture video quite well using the s-video-in... Anyone know if it woiks? (before I zap winders off that machine and then have to reinstall it.. heh) Thanks Mark
Glitz
Video in is not handled by the Nvidia chipset. A third party video capture chip is used (usually Philips for Nvidia cards). Therefore a driver is required for these third party chips. Check out: http://rivatv.sourceforge.net/ RivaTV is a project to write drivers for these chips. I believe most TI4600 cards use the same chipset as the Geforce 3 cards (Philips SAA7108E) and support for them exists in RivaTV. Glitz.
