darkscot
I have been using Mandriva One 2007 (KDE) for several weeks, and very nice it is too. However, a few days ago I opened the Mandriva Control Centre and got a 'new media detect' message window. This was for my floppy drive which did not have a disk in it. This now happens every time I open the control centre. If I click cancel it goes away, if select 'open' it tries to mount the disk but obviously fails as there is no disk. Any idea why this is happening and what I can do to stop it. The only changes i have made to the system lately is installing Google Earth. edwardp
I've noticed that as well, with Mandriva 2007 One, but not with Mandriva 2007 Free. I click CANCEL.

Ah well, I will just learn to live with it. One of those phenomena that scientists are powerless to explain?
