Guest emoll Posted March 26, 2003 Report Share Posted March 26, 2003 Hi all, My home computer (MB MSI KT266 Pro) and my laptop (Vaio FR102) both use the via82cxx driver in the latest Mandrake 9.1 release and the sound is horrible!! It sounds as if it was coming from a tin. I didn't have these issues in 9.0 or before Alsa9.0rc5. Does anyone have a similar problem and/or knows how to fix it??? Michel Posted March 26, 2003 Report Share Posted March 26, 2003 I'm using also via82cxxx_audio and am going to install 9.1 in the weekend probably, so will let you know then...In the meanwhile you maybe could try the other driver that is normally listed (with me anyway) with this one in draksound......See what happens...
