Guest Animnous Posted January 12, 2007 Report Share Posted January 12, 2007 Hello all, I am having a slight issue trying to get my wireless card installed properly. I have tried ndiswrapper but im using a mac and it doesnt use .inf files. I also have tried using fwcutter-43xx but also no positive results. I am fairly new to linux and its very possible ive done something wrong, especially seeing as how i found the fwcutter solution on an ubuntu forum. It told me to create a /libs/firmware folder and move the firmware it cut into that folder but still to no avail. When i do lspci from the terminal , it shows the card as being exactly what it is which is a broadcom bcm 4306 wireless g card. Again, i am on a PPC platform which is an Apple Powerbook 1.5ghz.
