I even tried updating the mimetypes from kcontrol, manually selecting ark (no caps) KDEInit could not launch 'Ark'.: Could not find 'Ark' executable. ffi Posted December 27, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 27, 2006 I deleted the .zip mimetype entry in kcontrol and then clicked the zip, kde asked me for a program to open with and gave an option to remember, which worked.
