Mandriva One KDE - Screen Saver question 2

Thanks to the information provided by mtriley98 I corrected my display date and turned off all of the power controls controlling my monitor so now the screen never goes blank. Great!!!

 

My next problem is that the screen saver never starts. I can test the slide show or random and it works but when I set a time (like 10 minutes) it never starts automatically.

 

Any ideas?

 

BTW the clock keeps the correct time. Mandriva acts as if some timer is not working.
