dexter11
Novell have announced that their version of OpenOffice will support the MS OpenXML file format. They will cooperate with Microsoft and others to improve the interoperability between the MS Office and the OpenOffice word processor, spreadsheet and presentation maker. They will develop open source plugins for OpenOffice which will make that possible. The first plugins will be ready in January 2007 for OOWriter. Novell will release the code of the plugins so they can be built into OpenOffice.org. source: hup.hu
