I realized that I made a mistake and am completely re-editing my post. I'm still getting used to Mandrake/Linux and confused shell with konqueror.

What is the command for uninstalling an application in shell on Mandrake 10?

And how do I install firefox on Mandrake 10.0

Not a rpm. I was trying to install firefox with the command line and was unable to figure out how to do it. In the process of trying to install it, I had noticed a .mozilla directory in my /home/mraccount/ and wasn't sure if I had created it during my install attempt or if it was already there by default. Anyway, I was wondering how to uninstall with the shell command line in case I make a mistake or just for uninstalling anything else I may wish.

The .mozilla is the profile directory and probably existed if you ran previous versions of Firefox before you ran this.

Firefox doesn't need to be installed if you downloaded it from Mozilla. It's just a case of extracting it, and then running the firefox executable from within the extracted directory.
