sjaglin
Hi, I now use Kaffeine to record my tv programs from my DVB card (hauppauge nova-t) and it produces .m2t files. Weird format can t find much about it, It is not in the wikipedia! Anyway, when using tovid to put it in .avi files to read on my dvd player, the sound and image are often not synchronised . Does anyone use a different transcoding program? Is it possible to ask kaffeine to use a different format? Cheers Stef
ianw1974
I found a link which shows you can rename m2t files to mpg, and then you can watch them normally :P This link shows: http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/tme20_spec.html that they are mpeg2 format (or MPEG 2 Transport - hence M2T ;) ). I have a similar problem with my camcorder, and I just rename to mpg and all is OK.

ianw1974
I must add my file type isn't M2T, but some amiga audio type, which isn't audio, but an MPEG. Strange it sure is.
