I have just installed the madriva free version to start to learn linux - my mouse works during the install then stops working when you actually start up madriva. I have installed twice and tried to diffent mice, in both the usb and ps/2 ports - the machine auto detects the mouse correctly but it will not move - any suggestions?

I had this happen once, and I just used keyboard shortcuts to get to the mouse configuration, then it worked. Do: alt-f2 > mcc then use arrow keys and tab to get to hardware > mouse and press enter. Use arrow keys to go through the setup, and then it should work OK.

I have no idea how to get you the file since they are on the a diffent computer and I have never used Linux before. I did try the configuration thing with the mouse, several times. that didn't change anything
