shams Posted November 6, 2006 Report Share Posted November 6, 2006 hi, i want to install the wvdial in the mandirva 2006 this is the whole output: [root@localhost extra]# urpmi wvdial-1.54.0-3mdk_1.54.0-3mdk.i586.delta.rpm installing wvdial-1.54.0-3mdk_1.54.0-3mdk.i586.delta.rpm unable to extract rpm from delta-rpm package wvdial-1.54.0-3mdk_1.54.0-3mdk.i586.delta.rpm Preparing... ############################################# 1/1: wvdial ############################################# error: unpacking of archive failed: cpio: Bad magic the wvdial is not installed, when i run the command whereis wvdial no output, any idea please? You should be installing: urpmi wvdial-1.54.0-3mdk.i586.rpm this is the official package, and you can get this if you have set up your easyurpmi sources using the link at the top of the page.
