neighborlee
driver: how to do easily install nvidia driver without being a paid subscriber to the club,,or do I ? ;) panel applet: is broke,,says to contact mandriva support and Im wondering if this is a known issue that 'udpating' manually via rpmdrake fixes ? rpmdrake: VERY slow when doing a 'update' and when adding a new repo....beyond that it seems fine. thx neighborlee Edited November 5, 2006 by neighborlee
sjaglin
Hi There! I ve always had nvidia cards and to install them drivers with mdv do as follow : - go to easyurpmi website and follow instructions including plf stuff - go to drakconf and click on "look at and config hardware" -click on the video card and run config tools -he will tell u "there is a manufacturer driver available do u wanna use it?" say yes (er type it) -then log off and log back on and it should be done.
