The point of trying to sort this out is so i can tune my guitar on linux. well these are my 8 audio devices in /dev/sound: adsp audio dmmidi dsp midi mixer sequencer sequencer2 well my card is a SB pci 128 ith alsa (module ES1370) any ideas how to get this all working? btw the guitar tuner im using (k3guitune) initalizes but gets no input, so no tuning. SoulSe Posted March 16, 2003 Report Share Posted March 16, 2003 I presume you checked the master levels for the sound device? You also need to select which ports will be used for recording. If you have audacity on your computer, check for aumix, it is a very good program for setting your levels and selecting which to record from.
