oshunluvr
Here's my latest weird problem; On a new 2006 powerpack installation. Updated KDE to 3.5.4 and dkms-nvidia-8776. This caused my keyboard to not work after booting. SOMETIMES if I restart X it will work for a few seconds up to about two minutes, but no more. No changes were made to the keyboard entries in xorg.conf and the system works normally booted to 2007 powerpack. I suspect the newly installed nvidia driver (the 2007 installation that works uses 8774) so I will downgrade to 8774 on the 2006 install and see if that fixes the problem. scarecrow
I'd check first if it works properly after a telinit 3. If it does, I would inspect /var/log/xorg0.log for some curious error messages.
