hows it going ... new here...

when I install with the rpm installer it says "everything installed".. I've tried searching it no help found... anyone have this problem?

Hi..

For amsn, do NOT install with rpm..

Download its tarball source, compile and use!

It's great tool, far better than msn itself!!

 

Details:

1) Extract source folder to your home directory
2) In bash prompt, su root, and go to the amsn source folder (found in home)
3) ./configure
4) make install
5) You can now launch amsn by typing : amsn
6) Enjoooy with some beer/snacks :)

 

 

Side note:

When you compile, use "make install", instead of "make"

For amsn, do NOT install with rpm..
:huh2: What is the reason for that, i've installed the rpm and it works fine.

In /home/youre name is a hidden map called .amsn, delete that and delete in youre hone a map called receveid amsn and try to install it again.
