Guest friketron
Hi, I just installed Mandriva for the first time on a box that has a 32 MB pro savage agp and an old 32 MB Radeon PCI. I've got 1 decent monitor and a really old Hp monitor that won't go past 640 x 480. I managed to configure them with xinerama but if I try to use 1024 x 768 for the decent one and 640 x 480 for the old monitor kde just prompts that the current x server and RadnR do not support resizing. I'm currently running both on 1024 x 768 but I would like to know how I can Update either x server, RandR or both to get things working properly. Again I'm a real newbie, I'm looking to fix this more for the sake of becoming familiar with the OS than for the practical value it might represent. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers, Frike
