[root@localhost rohitsz]# Before the urpmi, i had changed my dvd drive from an acer(dvd-r) to a samsung(dvd-r/rw).Could that contribute to this error? thanks, rohit. ianw1974 Posted July 11, 2006 Report Share Posted July 11, 2006 It could do yes, you'd need to remove your urpmi sources for the CD and add them again. You can do this in System/Configuration/Packaging/Software Media Manager. That way you can just remove the CD sources, and leave the rest of your sources without removing them all. Then you can create a custom entry, point to CD drive, and check the box for create media for whole distribution. It just needs to go to /mnt/cdrom for it to add back.
