Guest Norm_Mck
Hi I downloaded 9.1rc1 and used the *upgrade* option which I'll admit didn't work at all well with previous versions, but this one worked extremely well. I run Linux on my Inspiron 4100 laptop so other users with simillar equipment might want to try the upgrade path rather than reinstall. Only problem I had was with the Nvidia modules but I knew how to fix that from postings in this board. Cheers
onurb
All this talking about 9.1 rc1. . . I'm getting pretty impatient for the final release of 9.1, won't toutch the rc's, bad experiences in the past. . . . As soon as 9.1 boxed will be there I'll order it at Mandrake store

Guest ndeb
The problem with upgrade is that u have to make sure u have upgraded every existing package. Otherwise u will have incompatible versions resulting in buggy behavior.
