Counterspy
The answer is yes. Use the search box at the top of the page for "moving partitions" which describes moving the whole partition to the new drive. Also look for a similar thread here within the last few days. Aru posted detailed instructions on how to do so. It is possible to extend a partition over more than one drive, but it is rather arcane and its installation is not easy. It is mainly intended for large datacenters who need constantly expanding partitions and it is usually implemented at install time, AFAIK, requiring enterprise kernel support.
