Guest chad
Hi all, We're upgrading a lot of servers at work and I was able bring home an older dual PII processor Dell server. I wanted to install Mandrake as a server and was wondering how I can view the RAID setup info? Thanks. Chad
Guest duir66
I'm not at all familiar with Dell setup, but we recently did a raid install and had to let raid config map drives prior to install. Have no idea which, but it will be a key combo to get you into the raid config - similar to BIOS. After that ML, RH, etc. sees one drive properly. Good Luck :)
Guest chad
Thanks for the reply. You are correct. It's "BIOS" type of setup. Once it's setup, and Linux boots, how do you view the raid while in Linux? Will it just simply show up in /etc/fstab? Thanks.
