derxen
Hello all, I have a purple alcatel speedtouch, and it actually works, but I want to run it as user. I suid pppd, modem_run, pppoa3, and resolv.conf. It does in fact connect, and I get my ip-addresses, but then the message SIOCADDRT: operation not permitted. I remain connected, but I can't email or surf. So apparently there's a program that needs to run after the connection is established, and it can only be run as root, so I need to suid that one too, but I have no idea what it is. Can anyone help? TIA derxen
derxen
I've found out that /etc/ppp/ip-up runs after the connection is established, but it is executable by everyone, so that can't be the problem. derxen
