jeffporter
Anyone tried running mandriva along side OS X w/ parallels yet? [moved from Software by spinynorman]
scarecrow
Isn't Parallels a commercial version of qemu, with a few finetuning tricks?
jeffporter
no, i believe they are 2 totally seperate operations.
scarecrow
AFAIK it *is* qemu with some eyecandy and finetuning, and mainly targeted at MACOSX users. But why a Linux user should prefer it over VMware server, which is solidly based on proven technology and is (still...) free of charge? jeffporter
the reason someone would choose parallels over vmware is because you can't run vmware on OS X...duh?
