Guest shivali
I bought a tv tuner, kworld pvr 878, and it doesn't work on mdv 2006.0. In control center this hardware is registered as kworld rf 878, and tuner unknown. i tried tuner =5 and 38, and many others but i recived all the time the message "no station" I an in Romania and i use PAL. The programs that i tested was xawtw, zapping and tvtime, but i am getting the same error. what can i do?
devries
Have a look at tv-card. Perhaps the tuner number can be found at the chip on the card. Or look at the box in which the card came. I´m afraid there is no easy wy to find out what the tuner number should be. You could also download the source of the driver and look if there is a tuner.h file in it. Look in there for what you can try.

devries
In /etc/modprobe.conf remove 'tuner' from the bt878 line.
