I have a MDK 8.2 machine, and i would like to upgrade my KDE version to 3.0, but the problem is that there seems to be a lot of dependency problems, with the libraries, how do u do it

I don't suppose you would consider downloading 9.0 or 9.1 rc1?

I did an upgrade to 3.0 with mandrake 8.2 a while ago and i recall it wasn't all smooth sailing.

I downloaded all the kde rpms and qt rpms and did a urpmi *.rpm then downloaded the dependency rpms then did another urpmi *.rpm they downloaded some more dependency rpms then repeated untill urpmi finally had no more issues and installed it.
