devries
You probably have two ivtv versions mixed up. The Mandriva ivtv module is 0.2.0-rc3f. Look in the tips and tricks forum for a mandriva 10.1 and ivtv howto for more information about removing/installing ivtv.

I have installed the latest kernel-2.6.12-18 and tried with urpmi ivtv-stable and the unstable it would appear that the card is not correctly identified now. Guest ddave
You will have noted that the cx25840: firmware read failed in dmesg above. I took the latest firmware from the disk that came with PVR-150 and put it in /lib/modules and in /lib/hotplug/firmware not sure where it looks for the firmware but it found it in /lib/modules {.cx25840: firmware /lib/modules/HcwMakoA.ROM loaded} I think I am getting closer to success? ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ==================== ivtv: version 0.3.7 (k) loading ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.12-18mdk 686 gcc-4.0 ivtv: In case of problems please include the debug info ivtv: between the START INIT IVTV and END INIT IVTV lines when ivtv: mailing the ivtv-devel mailinglist. ivtv: Autodetected WinTV PVR 150 card (iTVC16 based) PCI: Found IRQ 9 for device 0000:00:0a.0 PCI: Sharing IRQ 9 with 0000:00:0e.0 PCI: Sharing IRQ 9 with 0000:00:11.0 tveeprom: The eeprom says no radio is present, but the tuner type tveeprom: indicates otherwise.
