Guest K41N Posted March 21, 2006 Report Share Posted March 21, 2006 Hi, im new to Linux, so forgive me if Im a little slow and don't see things that I should. Anyways, I have a Sound Blaster Audigy 4 sound card installed. Now the sound works..... in that it half works, half skips the music while playing. Ive tried ajusting the buffer is set to the max setting and is set to run in real time. Though the sound does run perfectly if set to run through MPlayer, but if put through anything else, it skips. My goal is to use Xine and all the xine based players. sorry i can't help more, its kinda wierd..... any help i can get is appreciated. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
devries Posted March 21, 2006 Report Share Posted March 21, 2006 The buffer you are talking about is only used by arts so you would have pipe the sound from xine trough arts fot it to have an effect.
