Guest ekp Posted February 18, 2003 Report Share Posted February 18, 2003 I am kusing Man 9.0 and have just installed all security updates including CUPS and Foomatic etc.. I know that there is an issue of not being able to print after these updates but I wanted to get my system up to date and figured I would work out the problem later. I remember reading in earlier posts that it was necessary to change and entry to one of the config files. I can not recall the post nor can I figure out what needs to be changed Any help would be appreciated. I am using an HP 722C printer. Thanks. beesea Posted February 19, 2003 Report Share Posted February 19, 2003 i also use a HP 722C. here's how to fix the update problem: after you install the updates edit the file /etc/pnm2ppa.conf and comment out the line that reads: version 0 you can uncomment the line for your actual model, but i never did and that doesn't seem to cause any problems Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
