Guest joehill
I remember there was a way to launch openoffice faster, it was a tip on Sisob's old site. It may have been on the old board as well. I am wondering if anyone has a link to anything like this, so far google and such have failed me. johnnyv
I thought it was only for Gnome and it just loaded up some of openoffice at startup meaning your boot time was longer but the application has less to load when you fired it up. gregor
If you add/enable contrib source than you can install oooqs.
theYinYeti
The program you're talking about is only for Gnome 1.4, and it won't work in Gnome2. Besides, it is replaced with EvolvedOpenOffice, which is at: evolvedoo.sf.net (if project is not dead). I suggest you try WMoo, a WM/Fluxbox dockapp, which is able to run in a window if no dock is available. Yves.
